  • The second of the WAAMH workshops will focus on the follow:
    Key Competencies and Practise Skills
    Day two develops a series of key competencies and practice skills identified as core to the care coordination function:

    Reflective Practice
    Negotiation and Conflict Resolution
    Developing Actions Plans
    Conflict Resolution styles
    Community resources: awareness and access.
    Designed for any mental health worker wanting to develop their care coordination skills, it will be of particular value to:

    PIR Support Facilitators
    Case Managers
    Allied Health Professionals
    Service Coordinators
    Psychosocial rehabilitation workers
    Other service staff wanting to develop Care Coordination skills
    There are two scholarship places available for consumers or carers who face difficulty in attending this course. The successful applicants will be notified five business days before the course. Scholarship information available at
