  • Who is the workshop for? Maternal and child health professionals (and others) working with pregnant Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women who smoke tobacco.
    Purpose: This free training workshop will provide the knowledge and skills to access the latest health information on the HealthInfoNet’s Preventing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Maternal Smoking portal. This will assist you to further your own practice, and to promote effective health strategies for your clients and communities.
    Learning objectives:
    • familiarity with the AIH home page, PATSIMS portal and yarning place so as to easily locate and identify key facts, programs, resources, publications, organisations and workforce information
    • participation in a web search and case study activities
    • sign-up to the free online yarning place to promote professional networking.
