The Close the Gap Coalition is inviting individuals and organisations to participate in National Close the Gap day on 20 March 2014.
Close the Gap day is about raising awareness of the gap in life expectancy between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
Participation in National Close the Gap Day is an excellent way to demonstrate support for this crucial issue, to give the community a chance to participate in it and to be part of a broad, national movement working for health equality.
It gives individuals and organisations the opportunity to show their support for closing the 10-17 year life expectancy gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
Registration for participation in the 2014 Close the Gap day is now open.
