  hi Katherine do you know of anyone trained in south west Victoria to deliver the ATSI MHFA? Does the trainer have to be indigenous or could we do a partnership with local aboriginal social & emotional well-being workers?

  Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals who have a good knowledge of mental illnesses and their treatment, good teaching, interpersonal and communication skills, and a good business plan or organisational support to conduct MHFA courses, can apply to become Instructors of the 14-hour Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander MHFA Course.
  
  Applications are currently open for:
  5-day Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander MHFA Instructor Training
  Monday 3rd - Friday 7th December 2012, Melbourne
