To showcase the work that the Knowledge Centre has carried out in 2015, this newsletter will be a mixed bag, and will feature all of the topics we currently cover. All of the information included in this newsletter can be found on the AOD Knowledge Centre. This year has been a very busy one for the Knowledge Centre team, and also very exciting, with the launch of the Community portal, the AOD Worker’s portal, the AODconnect app, and a new section on tobacco, all of which aim to support efforts to reduce harmful substance use among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

The project will investigate the prevalence and key influences on smoking uptake among Aboriginal adolescents and young adults, and explore opportunities for prevention. Applications for the scholarship close 17 December 2015.
