  The NHMRC CEO approved the issue of the consensus-based clinical practice guideline for the management of volatile substance use in Australia on Monday 8 August 2011 and was formally released by Ministers Butler and Snowdon 28 October 2011.
  
  The guideline is accompanied by a quick reference guide. This summary contains all the guideline recommendations in an easy to read format to assist health professionals implement the guideline.
  
  Electronic copies of the guideline and summary document can be accessed at: http://www.clinicalguidelines.gov.au/search.php?pageType=2&fldglrID=1965&
  (You will find other Australian clinical practice guidelines on this portal also)
