Primary Prevention

I get the perception that lots of fantastic work is put into early intervention, clinical pathways and treatments but there seems to be less emphasis on primary prevention campaigns that address modifiable risk factors or raising awareness of how important it is to get children’s ears checked regularly and raising awareness about the link between frequent ear infections and permanent hearing loss.

Do you find this is the case?

Are there some examples of effective preventative activities?
